We are currently recruiting for a Transfer Station Supervisor in South West London. The role holder will provide a key role
that directly contributes to the daily working and smooth running of the Transfer Station, through
supervision of operational staff on a day-to-day basis within the guidelines laid down by the Transfer Station Manager.
The role holder will be expected to ensure the efficiency and productivity of the operations are not impaired.
Key elements of the role:
The successful candidate will:
Ensuring the Transfer Station is compliant with current legislation
Ensuring the Transfer Station is compliant with environmental legislation
Maintain health, safety, and security of the Transfer Station
Ensuring the Maintenance department is working efficiently
Managing the process of received waste
Supervising operations
Internal and external communication and documentation
Must be able to work shifts as required - occasional overtime is available
Job Requirements:
The individual we are looking for will be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and experience:
First-class organisational skills
Experience supervising an operational team

Educated to GCSE level equivalent or higher
Excellent communication skills
Working knowledge of current EA & HSE Legislation
Ability to use and interpret technical data
Experienced in providing excellent customer service.
Knowledge or an interest in recycling
Good verbal communication skills
Friendly disposition
