Management Accountant

Market leading company Carlisle are seeking a Management Accountant

Overview of the role:

· Produce monthly management accounts to the agreed reporting timetable for a number of business units

· Produce annual budgets and forecasts.

· Support budget holders with analysis and review of the accounts.

· Produce balance sheet reconciliations

· Maintain fixed asset registers.

· Prepare quarterly VAT returns.

· Coordinating information from overseas operations

· Produce monthly journal postings to the general ledger

· Any Ad Hoc analysis or statistics as required.

· An aptitude for working with different software packages, including spreadsheets and data base applications.

· A proactive approach to problem solving.

· Accuracy and attention to detail.

· The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.

· Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.1

· The ability to interact with financial and non financial managers at different levels
