We are a service provider delivering waste management services to industrial and commercial clients in the United Kingdom. Our primary focus is management of waste derived commodities and secondary raw materials. We are utilizing a brokerage model delivered through a nationwide network of suppliers and subcontractors.
As a Business Development Representative, you'll be broadly responsible for building up the business through:
(i) Finding and developing new business opportunities
(ii) Managing and supporting existing customers and suppliers
(iii) Maximizing the financial performance of the business
The role will include:
* Identifying, developing and following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings and site visits.
* Preparing and submitting quotations, tender responses and pricing reviews as required.
* Setting up and implementing service delivery structures or new and existing customers
* Jointly responsible with the Business Manager for delivery of services.
* Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
* Identifying and applying for available grant aid and business support programs
* Overseeing the development of marketing literature
* Administering accounts and writing reports
* Providing Business Manager Directors with market feedback
* Developing and implementing a system of service contracts and material procurement contracts
* Regularly reporting sales and business development activity, and reporting sales productivity and expenditure indices and targets.
* Establishing strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and regulatory and sector bodies to ensure business success.
* Actively supporting the Directors in the execution of their duties in management of the business activities of the Group.
* Encouraging and supporting collaboration across departments and takes actions that are best for the individual.
* Performing any other tasks that may be reasonably allocated by the Directors.
