Job Title: Training Manager
Location: UK

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Training Manager to join our team and help us enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce.
Position Overview: The Training Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective training programs to customers and across the organisation. This hands-on role requires a strategic thinker with a practical approach to training and development, ensuring that our employees are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively and customers can operate the equipment safely and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Development:
o Identify training needs within the organization through job analysis, and regular consultation with business managers.
o Design and develop comprehensive training programs, including e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training, to address various skill gaps.
o Create engaging training materials, manuals, and presentations.
2. Training Delivery:
o Conduct training sessions using a variety of instructional techniques to cater to different learning styles.
o Deliver hands-on training and practical workshops to ensure employees & customers can apply their skills in real-world scenarios.
o Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
3. Training Management:
o Maintain an organized training schedule and calendar, ensuring all training sessions are delivered on time and within budget.
o Track and document training attendance, progress, and outcomes.
o Continuously update and refine training programs based on feedback and changing business needs.


4. Collaboration and Support:
o Work closely with the Group Fleet & Services Director to align training programs with organizational goals and performance objectives.
o Provide coaching and support to employees to help them achieve their career development goals.
o Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in training and development.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Training Manager, Training Coordinator, or similar role in a vehicle, plant & equipment environment.
* Excellent knowledge of various training methodologies, tools, and techniques.
* Strong presentation and communication skills.
* Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
* Hands-on experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Relevant certifications in training and development (e.g., CIPD, ATD) are a plus.

Working Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. (Full time)
