Job title:
Site Manager - Welshpool
Main purpose of job:
The role of the Site Manager is to plan, control, communicate and manage the activities of all Welshpool Operations. In addition, it oversees the sites quality management, health& safety, and regulatory compliance strategies and provides leadership and direction for the people that work at the site.

£40,000pa + £6k Car allowance + bonus
Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership for quality and compliance standards and engage in site inspections undertaken by external agencies.
* Manage the quality and quantity of the yield of materials handled at the Welshpool site.
* Forecast, plan and manage the day-to-day inventory, stock control and material sales to ensure mass balance is achieved.
* Responsible for quality control of materials which are processed through the site.
* Responsible for department Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) standards and agreed KPIs (near miss reporting, training, safety inspections, accident/incident investigation etc).
* Direct and manage the maintenance of all plant, machinery, and fixtures and fittings.
* Control the budgeting processes and ensure the site is managed within budget through the effective use of purchasing processes and invoice authorisations.
* Monitor and provide KPI data to the Managing Director on a monthly basis.
* Oversee investigations of non-conformance issues and events.
* Manage key customer relationships.
* Provide training and coaching to supervisors and other members of staff.
* Conduct regular management meetings with supervisors, maintenance staff and managers in the business.
* Oversee the recruitment agency relationships and ensure the use of agencies is managed within the budget constraints.
* Act as final signatory on all plant sign-offs.
* Oversee company processes and practices including disciplinaries, grievances, job performance and act as a final decision maker on all HR related issues for Welshpool operatives.
* Engage in industry networking activities.
* Act as a resource to operate plant kit and drive plant vehicles when required.
* Ensure all site conditions are adhered to and compliant with the site permit.
